Mark Davis Big Water AdventuresBy Captain German Bustos – The big numbers of sailfish had yet to arrive at press time but that should have all changed by now. Those who wanted more action just went inshore where some anglers have enjoyed 20 plus roosterfish days. The big news though has been cubera snapper. Lots of big girls have been caught and released. Mark Davis from Big Water Adventures television took a 50 pounder on a Spo jig and several more.

Mike Pizzi of New York got his big snapper on a cut bait. African pompano and bluefin trevally have also made a good show By the time this hits the press the sails will be here as every year and tuna continue to cruise off the beach in the area protected from purse seiners. Lately fish to 150 pounds have been taken and big fish of the season out of Zancudo went just a hair under 300 pounds. While the sailfish numbers were below average the marlin numbers were above average

Captain Herman BustosGerman Bustos has been head captain at Crocodile Bay Resort for the last dozen years after working on prestigious sport fishing boats all throughout Central America for nearly 20 years. He is one of the most Mark Davis requested captains in the region.
