FECOP Visits World’s Largest Sport Fishing Convention, ICAST 2019

Welcome to ICAST 2019

Members of FECOP (Costa Rica Sport Fishing Federation) were present at ICAST 2019, Orlando FL and representing sustainable sport fishing in Costa Rica. FECOP fishing talked with the most respected names in the fishing industry including Pure Fishing, PENN, AFTCO, Guy Harvey Ocean Conservation, HUK, Pelagic, Mark Davis, IFISH Quepos,  Mammoth Coolers, Crocodile Bay Resort, Costa Rica, NOAA, and more. We would like to thank all of our friends for stopping by to see us as well as welcome new friends into our “Friends of Conservation” program to support healthy fisheries in Costa Rica and world-wide. FECOPs current campaign (sign our petition here) is stopping illegal Purse Seine fishing boats responsible for the killing of sailfish, marlin, dolphins, sea turtles and other “non-target” fishing species.Below are some photos of this great event.
